GAMBEL'S STORY

Gambel came to the rescue as an owner surrender.  He was well loved and cared for, however, he was struggling with laminitis and his owner wasn't in a position to provide long term care.  He has since been diagnosed with Cushings, and is on daily medication.  He is a sweetheart and loves attention. He was adopted and reunited with his former herd mate, Rhythm, in January 2021, but sadly his adopter passed away from a short battle with pancreatic cancer this past April. Gambel has continued to battle laminitis and is no longer ridable.  Therefore, he will be remaining at Trinity Rescue and Equine Sanctuary as part of our Sanctuary herd.
