Cynthia Heaton

Cynthia Heaton's lifelong passion for horses was ignited at the tender age of three when she first sat on her sister's camp horse. This early experience sparked a love for equines that would shape her future endeavors. As she grew, Cynthia honed her riding skills and became an accomplished hunter rider, participating in Georgia Hunter Jumper Association rated shows. Her heart horse, an Arabian gelding named Greyson, played a pivotal role in her equestrian journey. Together, they competed in both the Georgia Arabian Horse Association and the US Arabian Horse Association shows.
Cynthia pursued her academic interests at St. Andrews University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Business Administration, concentrating in Equine Business Management. This academic foundation equipped her with the knowledge and skills to combine her passion for horses with her business expertise.
In 2012, a serendipitous discovery on a rescue site led Cynthia to reunite with Greyson, 19 years after he had been sold. This emotional reunion inspired Cynthia and her husband, Joey, to establish Trinity Rescue and Equine Sanctuary. Since its inception, Cynthia has served as the Executive Director, dedicating herself to marketing, fundraising, volunteer recruitment, and training.
